A Marietta police dog died Monday morning after running into the path of a van. Officer Ray Figueroa was giving "Inja" a break in the Oakwind subdivision, off Antioch Road near Kennesaw, shortly after 7 a.m., Officer David Baldwin with Marietta police said.
